Change your password

November 23rd, 2025 at 04:11 pm

Just heard from McAfee that savings advice was hacked and that my persona info is on the dark web.

If anyone knows how to change their password here, please let us know. It's ridiculous that i have to send a note asking how to do that to savings advice.

Thanks.

I bet that is why my blog wasn't showing up. Changing the password is a bit tricky, isn't it?

I actually use an unique login and password that doesn't correlate to anything else I use online. So, compromising my account here does minimal damage to me.

I guess I was slightly paranoid from my past, thinking I was already compromised by my ex-wife at the time hahahaha.

But yeah, it's always better safe than sorry. By now, I assume you have seen Dido's entry on how to reset and change your password.

Hey Tabs, yes, everyone should use only unique passwords, but that's not the only way scammers can cause you trouble. At the very least, they could flood your with lots of spam, and if you're careless just one time and click on a link....

You are right, and in any case, I have also changed my password. Fingers crossed, there will be less security issues this time around…
