Fun app depicts your local weather as a work of art

OK, here's a fun tool: it uses the art of abstract painter Mark Rothko to portray the weather in your location.

Unique, huh?

Mark Rotkho was a Latvian-born American abstract painter. Today's weather looks like this:

No. 5 / No. 22, 1950

No. 5/No 22, 1950

I think my mother would have been intrigued.

Interesting but kind of random. I got different results for my zip code within a 1-minute interval and changing from my zip to the next zip code over led to very different results. But still, fun to play with.

I thought that was neat so tried my own ... (SF Bay Area) and I got "Untitled Black and Grey" and it was black and grey not pretty like yours LOL
I don't know your mom but remember reading of her and seeing her art ... I do agree that your mom would have liked it.
    thanks for sharing!

Huh that is very interesting indeed, though sadly, abstractionism is lost on a guy like me.
