365 reasons to be grateful

December 22nd, 2015 at 08:02 pm

Would anyone care to join me on January 1st as I embark on taking one daily photo of something that makes me grateful. It could be a flower, a sunset, your husband or your dog. You just have to post your photo every day here.

I'm in, and I'll be posting here and on Facebook....it sounds like fun.

There's a website for this too..365grateful.com.

I doubt I could keep it up for 365 days, but I'm in for the beginning at least!

I feel the same way...that's the spirit!!

One of my FB friends has been doing something similar this year - taking a picture of something everyday. It's been mostly selfies, pictures of her kids, or environment pictures. I didn't realize what she was doing until a month or so ago - had been wondering why she posted SO MANY selfies (a 50+ old woman).

Anyway, I like the idea - not sure if I could do it every day though - maybe post once a week with 7 pictures?

I think that would work, FT. So as long as you take a picture daily, it should be ok to play catch-up and post several of them at one time if you need to and don't have time to post right away.

My sister did this in 2014. I think it is more meaningful to the person posting then the people viewing! The same year, my daughter took a picture of herself everyday. She didn't post them, but she has a record of herself and some places she went for the entire year.

I'd love to join in, but I have to re-learn how to use my camera (so lame, I know) and also how to post pictures here! The digital revolution left me behind, I'm afraid.

I doubt I could post a pic every day but I could write what I'm grateful for!
