Confession

October 8th, 2012 at 07:37 pm

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................

The heat kicked on for the shortest of times last night...perhaps all of five minutes. I justed wanted it to take the chill out of the air.

I am getting a little lazy and not willing to tough things out anymore! I'll try to keep it off the rest of the week. Lows in the 40s, with one night down to 38.

Wish me luck

Good luck! I completely understand getting the chill out of the air. Smile

I wouldn't be able to bear temperatures in the 30's and 40's! I'm glad I have radiator heat now and I can be warm without any financial consequence!

I too turned the heat on yesterday. It was just chilly in the house.

We had ours on for a bit Friday night - 40s during the day not including windchill. Then we attended the homecoming game, where our two daughters performed in the marching band. Even with winter gear, we were frozen! Makes a little afraid what our winter will be like..... ( and yeah, I would have toughed it out in the past, but too old and cranky to now Smile )

I tried to hold out but just couldn't. It was in the upper 30s here at night.

    "Me, too."

Can't take the cold as I used to. Set the thermostat higher than I once did. I give myself that permission. Did what I could when younger in order to be able to take care of my changing needs as I age. "Need another Fahrenheit degree, self? Here, take this one not used when you were 23." Wink

I was going to turn the heat on this weekend, but when I went to do it, I found out that the batteries had died in the temperature control unit. So ... no heat. It is getting cold again tonight, so I may need to do some scrounging for batteries!
